ADULT AND CHILDREN'S SERVICES
This service provides clients with rapid access to mental health
services. Our mission is to help clients deal more effectively with the stresses and
demands of daily living.

A medical model/team approach is used to determine the most effective
treatment. Psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists and therapists work together to provide
assessment and treatment planning. Therapeutic models include: Individual
Counseling
Group Counseling Family
Counseling
Medication Monitoring Psychological and Psychiatric
Evaluations

In addition the Mental Health Outpatient Program offers
specialized programming to meet the growing needs of the community:

S.A.F.E.
(Stop Abuse - Foster Empowerment)
|
This psycho-educational based service intends to reduce domestic violence
and keep women safe by changing the batterer's behavior through group education and
therapy. Participants are referred to the program from the courts, police,
probation/parole officers, and other mental health providers. The start-up of this program
was underwritten by a generous grant from the William Penn Foundation.

Creative Health Services, Inc., in association with the
Montgomery County Women's Center, the Pottstown Police Department, and the
Montgomery County
Probation Department. is offering a men's group program with the mutual goals of ending
violent behavior and ensuring safety for women and children.

A fee is required.
Payments can be arranged on a sliding scale basis. Support services for female partners
also are available at the Pottstown branch of the Montgomery County Women's Center.

POLICE LIAISON SERVICES
|
The Police Liaison service provides a linkage with local police
departments; the criminal justice and mental health systems Crisis intervention and
outreach assistance are provided for:

* Sex Offenses
* Mental Health Emergencies
* Community Prevention/Education Services
